Yorkshire Water has awarded an AMP7 framework contract for the supply of water meters and AMR units worth an estimated £10.17 million.
The framework agreement covers a 5 year contract term for the maintenance of meter reading efficiency in areas not chosen for smart meter deployment.
Three companies were in the bidding for the work, which was tendered in two separate Lots.
No information has been made available about the successful bidders.
